Kava Bowl

This kava bowl can fit roughly300 mL of Kava. Kava is a drink originating from the western Pacific Islands. It is made from the root of Piper methysticum plant found in that region. Kava is known to help with anxiety, insomnia, and can be categorized as a stimulant similar to an energy drink. It is however plant based and healthier. My friend found a market for it in Southern California and asked me to CAD him a container to sell the drink in. He wanted the container to be unique and channel the traditional essence and roots of the drink. Since this drink is traditionally poured in small bowls and consumed, this design seemed right, and we steered away from the traditional canned or bottled containers for drinks. It will be made out of recycled plastic due to manufacturing reasons.
